ANZAC DAY | 25 April 2025
Today, we pause to honor the courage, sacrifice, and enduring legacy of the Australian and New Zealand servicemen and women who served—and continue to serve—in times of conflict and peacekeeping.
ANZAC Day marks the anniversary of the 1915 Gallipoli landings—an event that, despite its great cost and eventual withdrawal, helped shape the national identities of Australia and New Zealand. The bravery, resilience, and camaraderie shown by the ANZACs in the face of overwhelming adversity remain deeply woven into the spirit of both nations.
At ANZCham, we reflect on the values that unite our communities—courage, resilience, and camaraderie—and honor the legacy of those who served and sacrificed at Gallipoli and beyond.
Lest we forget.
