On 3 March 2026, ANZCham hosted its record-breaking Annual International Women’s Day Luncheon, marking the Chamber’s largest event to date, and bringing together leaders, members, and partners in a meaningful celebration of women’s leadership and impact. The event delivered a full house with over 370 registered guests, and an afternoon defined by strong engagement, meaningful dialogue, and high-level networking.
The forum was proudly co-presented by Aristocrat Gaming, with Lloyd Robson, Senior Vice President, opening the program by underscoring the private sector’s role in creating real pathways for women to lead and succeed.
Distinguished Keynote Speakers H.E. Dr. Catherine McIntosh, New Zealand Ambassador to the Philippines, and H.E. Marc Innes-Brown PSM, Australian Ambassador to the Philippines, addressed the theme of “Bridging the Representation Gap,” highlighting New Zealand’s “Free to Lead” digital safety toolkit and Australia’s International Gender Equality Strategy; both emphasizing on the importance of advancing women’s leadership.
The afternoon featured three dynamic conversations: “Investing in Our Future” underscored community-building, safety, and structured support as catalysts for transforming industries and expanding opportunities for women; “Mentorship & Leadership Development” spotlighted succession planning, visible role models, confidence-building, and the power of both formal and informal mentorship; while the Fireside Chat on “New Models of Learning” emphasized lifelong learning, micro-credentials, and closer alignment between education and the evolving demands of industry.
The program concluded with an address from Hanna Carinna Sy, Assistant Vice President for Marketing and Leasing at SM Supermalls and an Australia alumna, who reinforced the power of confidence, action, and collective mentorship in shaping the next generation of women leaders.
As the program wrapped up, the energy in the room rose once more for a much-anticipated finale. We congratulate the lucky winner that was awarded with a roundtrip ticket to Australia by Qantas, our Official Raffle Partner!
ANZCham extends its appreciation to our key partners: Trailblazer Partner, QBE; Alumni Leadership Partner, Australia Awards; Changemaker Partners, Centre Médicale Internationale, DysrupIT, and Hann Casino; and Catalyst Partners, Clinique de Paris, Okada Manila, and Solaire Resort.
Indeed, from dynamic discussions to vibrant networking, IWD 2026 was more than a forum as it was a powerful reminder that when we give through mentorship, education, and opportunity, we all gain.
