On May 15, ANZCham’s May Monthly Members Meeting, co-presented by Telstra and QBE Group Shared Services Centre, took on a vibrant and hands-on format through the Sustainability Expo and Terrarium-Making Workshop and the energy in the room was unmistakable. With a strong turnout and an atmosphere filled with curiosity, conversation, and collaboration, the event became more than just an opportunity to connect, it was a celebration of community coming together to take actionable steps toward sustainability.
Attendees heard from our sustainability partners: QBE GSSC shared how they’re driving sustainability through net-zero goals, workforce resilience, and employee-led efforts; dāna asia followed by sharing powerful examples of impact through social business CSR models; and HMR Trading Haus showcased practical circular economy solutions for businesses.
As the Terrarium-Making Workshop began, tables quickly filled with teams and individuals ready to roll up their sleeves and build their very own self-sustaining ecosystems. Special thanks to Moss Escape PH for facilitating the experience.
All throughout the evening, the Expo buzzed with connection. Attendees explored booths, asked questions, found potential partners, and left with not only ideas, but with inspiration to bring back to their own teams.
